Donetsk, Sep 28 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations on Tuesday fired mortars at the Krutaya Balka settlement area next to Yasinovataya, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
The shelling began at 16:03. Ukrainian forces used 82mm and 120mm mortars expending 22 rounds overall. The strike was delivered from the Kiev-controlled Kamenka settlement area. No damage or casualties were immediately reported.
“The Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC are ignoring the request to use the coordination mechanism for establishing a ceasefire,” the DPR Office said.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
