Donetsk, Oct 28 - DAN. Ukrainian army units fired artillery guns at the Mineralnoye settlement outside Yasinovataya on Thursday morning, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
The strike was delivered from the Avdeyevka settlement area at 7:00. Eight 152mm rounds were fired. No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
“The Ukrainian representatives in the JCCC have ignored the request to use the coordination mechanism for establishing a ceasefire,” the DPR Office said.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
