Donetsk, Apr 4 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended over 1,800 rounds in three week targeting DPR, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“Overall, from March 14 to April 4, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 125 times, firing 1,803 rounds, or 8.55 tons."
Within the three weeks, a civilian woman was killed, two DPR soldiers injured. Anther soldier was killed while on assignment to help civilians; 25 households and two infrastructure objects were damaged.
Earlier today, 16 ceasefire violations in 24 hours were reported.
The Easter ceasefire initiated by the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was supported by the Contact Group members and came into force at midnight March 30. The Ukrainian side violated it at 9.35 a.m. by targeting Kominternovo with mortar rounds. *ot
