Ukraine strikes at central Donetsk, explosions heard in Donbass Opera area as residents pay last respects to Olga Kachura

Donetsk, Aug 4 — DAN. The enemy has delivered strikes at central Donetsk using long-range artillery of western production, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

From 10:20 to 10:28, Ukrainian gunmen fired at least five  NATO standard 155mm projectiles at Donetsk’s Voroshilovsky district, the JCCC said.

Explosions continue; heavy smoke is observed in the district. The attack was launched during the funeral ceremony for Hero of Russia and the Donetsk People’s Republic Olga Kachura which took place at the Donbass Opera building.

Earlier reports on Thursday said that the Kiev army had delivered an artillery strike at central Donetsk causing casualties.*jk
