Donetsk, Jul 6 - DAN. DPR intelligence obtained information on Ukrainian secret services’ preparing an act of terror during a public event in Mariupol in the next few days, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.
“Our intelligence has information about Ukrainian secret services’ preparing a new act of terror against their own people,” Basurin said. “Mariupol will host a youth music festival on Peschanka beach on 7-9 July. The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) plans to set off a demolition bomb during the public event.”
The explosion can cause casualties among civilians and Ukrainian servicemen. After the terrorist attack, Kiev intends to show fake evidence alleging Russian secret services’ involvement.
“According to Ukrainian authorities’ plan, the inhuman massacre of civilians carried out during the G-20 summit will help substantiate the need for resuming fighting in Donbass,” Basurin said.
In this connection, DPR Operations Command representative urged the Ukrainian leadership to embark on the road of productive dialogue for resolving the conflict and renounce the plans to commit crimes against civilian population in the region.*jk
