Donetsk, Jun 28 - DAN. Ukrainian authorities are poised to launch active hostilities in Donbass anytime, Donetsk People’s Republic Head Alexander Zakharchenko said during the hotline with DPR residents on Thursday.
“I officially state that Ukraine can begin fighting anytime, it can do it, but of course, there will be no large-scale offensive because Ukraine is in no condition for it,” Zakharchenko said.
Tensions have been running high on the contact line in Donbass with the DPR Operations Command reporting daily strikes by Ukrainian forces. Seven people have been wounded in DPR towns and districts in shelling by Ukrainian army units over the past two weeks.*jk
