Donetsk, Jun 6 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic some 50 times on Monday killing two civilians and wounding another five.
The enemy fired 324 rounds of ammunition at the region mostly using NATO-supplied long-range artillery pieces, multiple rocket launchers and anti-radar missiles. Strikes were delivered at districts of Donetsk, Makeyevka and Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Olginka and Volnovakha. Two people were killed and another five were wounded, and 15 homes and seven infrastructure facilities were damaged.
One of the civilians was wounded in an UXO blast in a village outside Volnovakha.
On Tuesday morning, Ukrainian forces delivered strikes at Gorlovka, Donetsk and Yelenovka. An elderly man was reportedly wounded in Kiev artillery fire at Staromikhailovka. There have been no damage updates so far.*jk
