Donetsk, Sep 17 - DAN. Ukrainian army units opened fire at Donetsk’s densely populated Kuibyshevsky district on Friday morning, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“Three civilians were wounded in the strike,” the report said. “At 1A Kolkhozny Prospekt, a  34-year-old man suffered a shrapnel wound to the leg, and a 30-year-old man had a mine blast trauma and a shrapnel wound to the shoulder, hand and lumbar region. A 58-year-old man at 37 Vasilchenko Street suffered a mine blast trauma, brain concussion and a wound in the occipital region.”

The strike was delivered from the Peski settlement area at 6:50. The enemy used 120mm mortars, the JCCC said. *jk
