Donetsk, Nov 13 — DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic 60 times over the past weekend, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
The enemy used long-range artillery pieces supplied by NATO countries, Soviet-era weaponry, mortars and multiple rocket launchers expending more than 200 rounds of ammunition, the JCCC said.
Three civilians were killed in Donetsk’s Petrovsky and Kirovsky districts and Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district and another two people were injured in the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk and Telmanovo. Strikes were also delivered at Yasinovataya district settlements.
Eighteen homes and five infrastructure facilities were damaged including a community center and a shop.
On Monday morning, Ukrainian forces continued to deliver fire with NATO-supplied 155mm artillery at Makeyevka, Donetsk and Gorlovka.*jk
