Donetsk, Jun 7 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations keep delivering chaotic strikes at residential areas across the Donetsk People’s Republic; the enemy has expended some 450 rounds of ammunition since Tuesday morning.

Military situation

The enemy resumed strikes at 06:09. Fire was delivered at the Petrovsky, Kievsky, Kuibyshevsky and Kirovsky districts of the DPR capital, Staromikhailovka, Lozovoye, Yelenovka, Makeyevka’s Chervonogvardeisky and Kirovsky districts, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka and Vesyoloye on the Donetsk axis, and Svetlodarsk, Shakhta Gagarina, Golmovsky, Bairak and Panteleimonovka on the Gorlovka axis. Kiev forces used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 203mm, 155mm and 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars and grenade launchers.

Two civilians were killed in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district and Svetlodarsk and another eight were wounded in the Kievsky district, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Gorlovka and Svetlodarsk.

In Donetsk, the strikes damaged six houses, a Central Bank office, the Gorky Palace of Culture, the administrative building of Colliery 4-21; 15 electrical substations went offline. At least three houses, a gas pipe, a large electrical substation and the Yasinovsky coke and chemical factory were damaged in Makeyevka. Thirteen houses, a kindergarten, the local administration building were damaged in Gorlovka and a bakery complex and a greenhouse facility were damaged in Yelenovka.

Reports on Tuesday said that the Russian coalition forces had fully liberated Svyatogorsk.

DPR parliament speaker Vladimir Bidyovka delivered a speech at the State Duma lower house of the Russian parliament. Russian parliamentarians gave him a standing ovation as he took the floor. Bidyovka said at the State Duma session that Russia had supported Donbass in the most difficult time for the people and that the Republic could have experience a humanitarian disaster had it not been for Moscow’s assistance. He also expressed confidence that Donbass would regain its former might with Russia’s support.

DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova took part in the Livadiya Club session which addressed the topic “Back Home. Civilizational foundation, values and borders of the Russian World.” She delivered a report on the Donbass people’s eight years of struggle for the true values of the Russian World. The session came up withe resolution cementing the key methods and guidelines for consolidation in protecting the civilizational values of the Russian people.

The DPR’s Volodarsky district and Russia’s Lipetsk region signed a cooperation agreement. The documents were signed by their leaders Sergey Yuzvinkevich and Igor Artamonov. 

Novosibirsk residents handed over 18 tons of poultry meat to the DPR which distributed it across the Republic. The regional government and business people helped collect and deliver the humanitarian aid to Donetsk. 

The St Petersburg Marine Assembly donated 1,650 heroic and patriotic books to the Kirov Donetsk Republican Library. For example, readers can familiarize themselves with the history of the Russian Navy.

The DPR’s First Republican Supermarket retail chain said that it was preparing to launch a brand shop in Volnovakha later this month. It will become its first store in DPR liberated areas.
