Donetsk, Jan 12 — DAN. Russian forces in Donbass have destroyed one enemy “Grad” multiple rocket launcher, one “Gvozdika” howitzer, one US-made counter fire radar, manpower and one Su-25 attack aircraft, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in comments on special operation results over the past 24 hours.
“Artillery and air strikes were delivered at Ukrainian army units at Kislovka and Berestovoye in the Kharkov region and Novoselovskoyein the Lugansk People’s Republic, ” Konashenkov said. “Five enemy special operations groups were destroyed in the areas of Kislovka, Olshany, Tabayevka, Krakhmalnoye and Pershotravnevoye in the Kharkov region.”
Russian forces inflicted damage on Ukrainian armed formations in the areas of Stelmakhovka, Novolyubovka and Nevskoye in the LPR and Serebryanka and Grigorovka in the DPR.
In successful offensive operations on the Donetsk axis, air- and artillery strikes were delivered at Ukrainian armed formations by Novomikhailovka, Prechistovka and Novoselki in the DPR.
Strikes were delivered at two ammunition dumps near the settlements of Zaporozhye and Novoivanovka in the Zaporozhye region, 76 artillery units at fire positions, manpower and military equipment in 123 areas.
The following equipment was destroyed at enemy positions: three “Grad” multiple rocket launchers by Kupyansk and Petropavlovka in the Kharkov region and Ivanovka in the DPR, M777 and M109 “Paladin” artillery pieces by Lozovoye and Peschanoye in the DPR, two 2C1 “Gvozdika” howitzers by Burlatskoye in the DPR and Orekhovo in the Zaporozhye region and one AN/TPQ-50 counter fire radar by Lozovoye in the DPR.
Russian warplane shot down a Ukrainian SU-25 attack aircraft in the area of Nikanorovka in the DPR. Air defense units shot down five enemy unmanned aerial vehicles by Starobelsk, Chervonopopovka, Sofiyevka in the LPR and Nikolskoye in the DPR, and three HIMARS and “Olkha” projectiles by Molochansk and Chistopolye in the Zaporozhye region.*jk
