Donetsk, Nov 24 — DAN. Ukrainian army losses in the special military operation zone have amounted to more than 4,000 troops killed or wounded over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday.
Russian forces repelled 58 attacks on all axes including 22 breakthrough attempts on the Donetsk axis, the Ministry said. On the South Donetsk axis, Russian forces improved their positions. Thirty-nine Ukrainian servicemen were taken prison on the Kherson axis.
Over the past week, air defense units shot down a Ukrainian Mig-29 aircraft, a Mi-8 helicopter and 176 unmanned aerial vehicles. Naval aircraft eliminated 12 unmanned motor boats of the enemy, the Defense Ministry said.
