Donetsk, Aug 17 - DAN. Russia’s TV Tsentr television camera crew came under Ukrainian forces fire in Golmovskiy village area outside Gorlovka on Wednesday, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Barusin said.

“The recently appointed 128th separate mountain infantry brigade commander, war criminal Sobko, in a bid to play up to his superiors ahead of Ukraine’s Independence Day, arranged new provocation shelling our positions in Golmovskiy village area with mortars and grenade launchers,” Basurin said. “TV Tsentr camera crew came under fire.”

The Russian journalists were not hurt in the incident.

It is not the first time journalists came under Ukrainian forces fire in Donbass. On 31 January, 2017, Donetsk News Agency correspondents and Russian NTV and LifeNews channels camera crews were caught up in shelling in Donetsk’s Kievskiy District.*jk
