Donetsk, Nov 29 — DAN. Russian army units have liberated the Artyomovskoye settlement from Ukrainian troops, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
“On the Donetsk axis, Task Force ‘South’ units supported by aircraft and artillery improved forward line positions and liberated the settlement of Artyomovskoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic, ” the report said.
The Russian army has repelled three Ukrainian attacks on this axis next to the settlements of Shumy, Artyomovskoye and Kleshcheyevka over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry said.
The liberated settlement is located west of Artyomovsk. Ukrainian authorities renamed it to Khromovo in 2016. Its population slightly exceeded 1,000 in the early 2000s.*jk
