Donetsk, Dec 26 — DAN. Russian servicemen have destroyed a US-made M777 artillery system which was used to shell residential neighborhoods in Donetsk, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Monday.
On Kupyansk axis, enemy manpower and material were destroyed in a massive strike at the Kislovka settlement area in the Kharkov region.
On Krasny Liman axis, Russian artillery inflicted fire damage on Ukrainian armed formations in the areas of Makeyevka and Nevskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic, and Terny and Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
On Donetsk axis, Russian troops continued to successfully advance taking advantageous lines and positions.
On South Donetsk axis, Russian artillery and troops inflicted losses on the enemy in the areas of Vladimirovka, Ugledar, Novodonetskoye and Novoselka of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
An enemy “Grad” multiple rocket launcher was destroyed in counterbattery fire in the Pervomaiskoye area. Three Ukrainian D-30 howitzers were destroyed near Torskoye, Vodyanoye and Maryinka. In the Kramatorsk town area, a Ukrainian weapon repair center was destroyed together with two HIMARS, two “Gvozdika” self-propelled howitzers, five D-30 howitzers and three special purpose motor vehicles.*jk
