Donetsk, Jun 2 - DAN. Russian coalition forces have successfully rebuffed a breakthrough attempt by Ukrainian armed formations in the Verkhnetoretskoye settlement area north of Yasinovataya, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.
“DPR and Russian servicemen jointly rebuffed the enemy breakthrough attempt in the Verkhnetoretskoye area from the direction of the Rozovka village,” Basurin said. “Skilled DPR units destroyed two T-64 tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles and up to 30 troops.”
Two Ukrainian fire positions in the Krasnogorovka area west of Donetsk were silenced, he added.
Earlier reports said that DPR and Russian servicemen had rebuffed an attack by Ukrainian gunmen in the Sladkoye settlement area several kilometers northwest of Dokuchayevsk.*jk
