Donetsk, Feb 24 — DAN. Russian forces have destroyed six Ukrainian army ammunition dumps and a large amount of hardware in the special military operation zone over the past 24 hours, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Friday.
The enemy lost a dozen of “Gvozdika, ” D-20, D-30 and Msta-B howitzers, six “Grad” and “Uragan” multiple rocket launchers, one D-44 anti-tank gun, two M777 artillery pieces, one “Krab” self-propelled howitzer, one AN/TPQ-36 counterfire radar, one infantry fighting vehicle and several armored vehicles and cars, Konashenkov said.
A control center and an ammunition dump were destroyed by Adveyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and another five ammunition dumps were destroyed in the areas of Razdolnoye, Bogatyr and Malinovka in the Zaporozhye region and Vysshetarasovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region. A Territorial Defense Brigade control center was destroyed in the Peremoga area in the Kharkov region.
Missile troops and artillery inflicted damage on 102 Ukrainian artillery units at fire positions and manpower and equipment in 142 areas. Russian air defense units shot down four Ukrainian HIMARS and “Uragan” missiles and six unmanned aerial vehicles.*jk
