Donetsk, Aug 30 — DAN. Russian forces have destroyed a temporary accommodation center for mercenaries from the “Foreign Legion” unit in the Kiev-occupied Konstantinovka, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.
“In Konstantinovka, concentrated strikes were delivered at a temporary accommodation center for mercenaries from the ‘Foreign Legion,’ as well as at the command center of the nationalist formation ‘Kraken, ’ Konashenkov said.
More than 100 gunmen and seven pieces of military hardware have been destroyed in the attacks, he added. Also, Russian airspace forces hit command centers of Ukrainian armed formations’ 108th and 65th Brigades in the area of the occupied Vodyanoye. The Russian air defense shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle near Valeryanovka.
The People’s Republics and Russia have been conducting a a special military operation in Donbass since February 24. As of now the LPR territory is fully liberated; in the DPR, invaders have been dislodged from 271 settlements. On Monday, the Kodema village outside Artyomovsk came under Russian coalition forces control.*jk
