Donetsk, Sep 28 — DAN. The DPR People’s Militia assisted by the Russian army has liquidated 70 members of Ukrainian armed formations over the last day, DPR Defence’s deputy chief of staff Eduard Basurin said.
“The joint efforts of the DPR servicemen and the Armed Forces of Russia resulted in the destruction of enemy’s three tank, four armoured personnel carriers, three UAVs, five specialized vehicles. The enemy lost more nearly 70 nationalists,” he said.
Russia started a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the decision had been made after the DPR and LPR Heads addressed him asking for help. *ot
