Donetsk, Aug 29 — DAN. DPR and LPR People’s Militia assisted by the Russian army has liquidated 100 members of Ukrainian armed formations over the last day, DPR and LPR People’s Militia representatives said.
The joint efforts of the DPR servicemen and the Armed Forces of Russia resulted in the destruction of two enemy’s artillery systems, two drones, eight armoured vehicles and specialized vehicles. The enemy lost more than 40 nationalists.
LPR units liquidated 55 Ukrainian troops, and destroyed four armoured vehicles and six vehicles.
Russia started a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the decision had been made after the DPR and LPR Heads addressed him asking for help.
The Russian leader said that Moscow is not planning to occupy Ukrainian territory, the only goal is to protect people who have been continuously shelled and subjected to other forms of genocide by Ukraine for eight years. *ot
