Donetsk, Nov 9 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations deployed heavy armaments at the Druzhkovka railway station on the Gorlovka axis, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Barusin said on Tuesday.
“Gunmen of 25th Separate Guards Air Assault Brigade deployed a BTR-70 armored personnel carried in the proximity to the residential area in the village of Novobakhmutovka (next to the northern part of the contact line - eds Donetsk News Agency), in ivolation of Article 3 of the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire,” Basurin said. Thirty-one 122mm self-propelled howitzers “Gvozdika” and 24 122mm towed howitzers "D-30" were sighted at the Druzhkovka railway station.”
Earlier reports said that the Kiev army had deployed 20 tanks and six self-propelled howitzers at the Druzhkovka railway station.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. One of its key provisions bans the deployment of heavy armaments in and around residential areas and on the premises of civil infrastructure facilities.*jk
