Donetsk, Nov 9 - DAN. One Donetsk People’s Republic militiaman has been killed and another has been wounded in Ukrainian army strikes over the past 24 hours, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Tuesday.
“One DPR defender has been killed in enemy fire, and another has been wounded,” Basurin said.
The DPR militia has recently reported more casualties as Kiev forces stepped up strikes at the Republic. On November 8, one miltiiamn was killed and one was wounded in shelling by Ukrainian armed formations. On November 4, reports said that one DPR serviceman had been killed and another two had been wounded.
Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire four times over the past 24 hours firing 25 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas. Strikes were delivered on the Gorlovka and Mariupol axes.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
