Donetsk, Jun 12 — DAN. A civilian has been killed and another two were wounded in Ukrainian gunmen’s artillery strikes at the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past weekend.
The enemy delivered more than 40 strikes at the Republic using multiple rocket launchers and cannon artillery.
On Sunday, Ukrainian forces fired 222 shells at the DPR targeting nine settlements including Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya.
A civilian was killed in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district and another two people were wounded in the Alexandrovka neighborhood in the western outskirts of the city and Gorlovka’s Tsentralno-Gorodskoy district. Four homes and as many infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Sunday was quieter with eight reported strikes at the Republic on the Gorlovka, Donetsk and Yasinovataya axes. The Ukrainian army expended 38 rounds of ammunition. No civilian casualties were reported. Two civil infrastructure facilities were damaged including a water line.
In the morning of June 12 which is Russia Day, the enemy shelled several districts of Donetsk and its Alexandrovka neighborhood.*jk
