Donetsk, Jul 17 — DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic about 80 times over the past weekend, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
Strikes were delivered at Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Dokuchayevsk and their outskirts, as well as at Yasinovatya district settlements. The enemy used heavy artillery, NATO-supplied weapons and multiple rocket launchers expending 469 rounds of ammunition over two days, the JCCC said.
Two men were wounded in Donetsk and Dokuchayevsk on Saturday, and on Sunday, a woman was killed in Makeyevka and four people including a 16-year-old adolescent were wounded in Donetsk and Gorlovka. Ten homes and two infrastructure facilities were damaged.
On Monday morning, Ukrainian forces delivered about ten strikes at the DPR employing heavy artillery and an airborne missile. Two people were wounded and a car was damaged.*jk
