Donetsk, Oct 26 — DAN. Ukrainian aggression against the Donetsk People’s Republic claimed new victims as one civilian was killed and another was injured in UXO accidents in the Gorlovka area on Wednesday.
The fatality was reported in the Mayorsk settlement in the northwest of the town. In the second UXO accident, a man was injured in the Travnevoye settlement northeast of Gorlovka.
Both settlements were liberated from Ukrainian troops in the course of the special operation in the summer and spring of 2022. The area periodically comes under Ukrainian heavy artillery fire.
On Wednesday, Kiev army units shelled the DPR eight times targeting Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka and the Yasinovataya district. The enemy used Soviet and western artillery. A residential house was damaged.*jk
