Nearly 5,500 Ukrainian militants held captive in DPR - Pushilin

Snezhnoye, May 27 - DAN. About 5,500 militants of the armed formations of Ukraine have surrendered to the DPR since the beginning of the special operation, the DPR Head Denis Pushilin said during a work trip to Snezhnoye.

“As for the number, if we talk about the last units of Azov that surrendered at the Azovstal, then this is 2,439 people. And before that there were about 3,000 people. These are joint units of the armed formations of Ukraine," he said.

Pushilin added that the captives are kept in acceptable conditions. *ot
