More than 1,000 Ukrainian marines surrender in Mariupol

Donetsk, Apr 13 - DAN. More than 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen laid down their arms in Mariupol, the Headquarters of the DPR Territorial Defence said.

"Another 1,009 Ukrainian servicemen laid down their arms in Mariupol, who decided to save their lives and surrender to the DPR troops," the statement said.

The Headquarters said that a designated telegram bot (@want_to_give_up_bot) is still available for those who want to surrender: using it the personnel of the Ukrainian army can receive all the necessary assistance in the process of defection to the side of the Russian Federation, the DPR and the LPR.  *ot
