Donetsk, Mar 27 - DAN. A DPR army serviceman was fatally wounded as Ukrainian forces shelled the Zaitsevo neighbourhood in northern Gorlovka, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Tuesday.
“Ukrainian occupation forces have shelled Zaitsevo with 82mm mortars over the past 24 hours,” Basurin said. “A Republic’s defender was fatally wounded in the shelling.”
Earlier reports on Tuesday said that Ukrainian forces had violated the ceasefire once over the past 24 hours.
On March 2, the Minsk talks participants agreed a new ceasefire in Donbass effective from March 5. Ukrainian army units have repeatedly violated the truce since, but complete lull on the frontline has also been recorded on a number of days.*jk
