Donetsk, Oct 4 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled the Republic's territory 126 times over 24 hours, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"The situation in Donetsk People's Republic remains tense. Over the last 24 hours Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 126 times, using the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements," he said.
Yasinovataya and Spartak village were shelled with three tank rounds and 22 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds. Veseloye, north of Donetsk, Donetsk airport area, Trudovskiye (west of Donetsk) were hit with 82mm mortar rounds.
Gorlovka, Zaitsevo, Yasinovataya, Viktorovka south of the DPR capital and Sakhanka in vicinity of Novoazovsk also came under fire.
Earlier in the day a military source told DAN news agency that Ukrainian forces hit Yasinovataya industrial area the previous evening.
