Kiev shells DPR 277 times over the week, 36 houses damaged or destroyed

Donetsk, Apr 25 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk People’s Republic 277 times over the past week, damaging 36 houses a DPR defense official said.

"Twenty eight townships were targeted," said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Colonel Eduard Basurin.

"Thirty six households were damaged or destroyed."

Overall 2,292 mortar and artillery rounds were fired by Ukrainian forces aiming at DPR territory.

"Kiev's unwillingness to fulfil the Minsk Agreements leads to artificially deteriorating situation along the contact line," Basurin said.

He assured that DPR Armed Forces are fully committed to the Minsk Agreements, but are ready to withstand Kiev's offensive, if needed.

Earlier reports said Kiev forces had violated ceasefire 46 times over the last 24 hours, injuring a civilian woman. *ot
