Kiev forces violate Easter ceasefire targeting Kominternovo in southern DPR

Donetsk, Mar 30 – DAN. Ukrainian army has violated the Easter ceasefire this morning targeting Kominternovo in Novoazovsk district of the DPR, said the Republic's representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

"The Ukrainian side violated the Easter ceasefire: it lasted for 9.5 hours. At 9.35 a.m. Ukrainian armed forces opened fire on the direction of Kominternovo using 120mm mortars," he said.

The enemy also used infantry fighting vehicle cannons and grenade launchers.

The Easter ceasefire initiated by the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was supported by the Contact Group members and came into force at midnight March 30. *ot
