Kiev forces violate ceasefire three times in 24 hours - JCCC

Donetsk, Dec 23 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

"Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was three; 46 rounds were fred."

Mortars of 120 mm caliber, grenade launchers and small arms were used to target the areas of Mikhailovka, Shakhta Gagarina and Leninskoye.

Engineer works were reported in Ukraine-controlled Opytnoye in violation of the Additional Measures.

On Tuesday, December 22, two ceasefire violations were reported.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
