Kiev forces violate ceasefire six times times in 24 hours, target 5 towns - JCCC

Donetsk, Jul 5 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire six times in the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

"The number of violations committed by Ukraine in 24 hours is six, the number of rounds fired is 28," the report reads.

The townships of Alexandrovka, Elenovka, Vesyoloye and Yasnoye came under grenade launcher and small arms fire.

In the previous reporting period, Ukraine violated the ceasefire once.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
