Donetsk, Aug 21 – DAN. Ukrainian units have violated the ceasefire six times in 24 hours, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“The number of ceasefire violations recorded in the past 24 hours is six. The total number of rounds fired is 123,” the report reads.
Shakhta Trudovskaya, Staromikhailovka, the Volvo Center, Spartak, Belaya Kamenka were targeted with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, IFVs, APCs, large caliber machine guns and small arms.
Rounds under 12.7mm are not included in daily reports and statistics.
An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.
The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
