Donetsk, Aug 16 – DAN. Ukrainian units have violated the ceasefire eight times in 24 hours, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“The number of ceasefire violations recorded in the past 24 hours is eight. The total number of rounds fired is 24,” the report reads.
Spartak, Krutaya Balka, Zaitsevo, Dolomitnoye, Leninskoye, Kominternovo, Sakhanka were targeted with mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
Rounds under 12.7mm are not included in daily reports and statistics.
A resident of Gorlovka was injured yesterday as a result of Ukrainian attack.
An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.
The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot*pp
