Kiev forces violate ceasefire almost 140 times over week – DPR Operations Command

Donetsk, May 25 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 139 times over the past week, the Donetsk People’s Republic Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.

“The enemy violated the ceasefire 139 times over the past week firing 49 artillery rounds of 122mm caliber, four tank gun rounds; 615 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds,” he said. The enemy also used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.

Ukrainian army units targeted 20 DPR townships, damaging 30-plus residential houses.

The security situation in Donbass has deteriorated recently. DPR forces have repelled two Ukrainian attacks in Gorlovka sector alone since May 21. *ot
