Donetsk, Aug 12 – DAN. The Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire nine times in 24 hours firing more than 50 rounds, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
"The number of ceasefire violations recorded in the past 24 hours is nine. The total number of rounds fired is 52," the report reads.
Shakhta Trudovskaya, Yasinovataya, Shakhta Izotova, Dokuchayevsk, Kominternovo, Sakhanka were targeted with IFVs, APCs, grenade launchers and small arms.
Rounds under 12.7mm are not included in daily reports and statistics.
Eight houses have been damaged in Oktyabr in the DPR south this morning as a result of Ukrainian attacks.
An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.
The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
