Donetsk, Apr 30 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
“Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was seven, the number of rounds fired – 91”, the mission said.
Yakovlevka, Vesyoloye, Shakhta Trudovskaya, Shakhta 6/7 in Gorlovka, Naberezhnoye and Leninskoye located in the DPR south were targeted with 122 artillery, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, AGS grenade launchers, and small arms, including sniper rifles.
All the attempts to reinstall the ceasefire through the coordination mechanism failed as Ukrainian ignored the requests.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
