Donetsk, Dec 17 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire five times over the past week, the deputy People's Militia chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin said.
“Ukrainian fighters violated the ceasefire five times over the past week using 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, UAVs with explosives," he said.
The enemy targeted five townships: Staromikhailovka, Shakhta Trudovskaya, Vesyoloye, Bayrak, Leninskoye.
DPR People's Militia intercepted one of the UAVs that was part of the offensive on Donetsk.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
