Donetsk, Jul 30 – DAN.  Ukrainian forces violated ceasefire 34 times over the past week, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

“Thirty four violations have been recorded over the past week,” he said.

The members of Ukrainian armed forces opened fire on 14 townships using high-caliber artillery, 120 mm, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.

DPR opened retaliatory fire on seven occasions.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot*pp
