Donetsk, Jul 16 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated ceasefire 28 times over the past week, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.
“Twenty eight violations have been recorded over the past week,” he said.
The members of Ukrainian armed forces opened fire on 17 townships using high-caliber artillery 17 times, and 120 mm, 82 mm mortars as well.
DPR opened retaliatory fire on four occasions.
A Ukrainian UAV was also downed.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
