Donetsk, Aug 14 – DAN. Ukrainian units have violated the ceasefire 17 times in 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
“The number of ceasefire violations recorded in the past 24 hours is 17. The total number of rounds fired is 80,” the report reads.
Shakhta Trudovskaya, the Volvo Center, Spartak, Yasinovataya, Verkhnetoretskoye, Zaitsevo, Dokuchayevsk, Oktyabr, Kominternovo were targeted with mortars, tank guns, grenade launchers and small arms.
Rounds under 12.7mm are not included in daily reports and statistics.
An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.
The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot*pp
