Donetsk, Dec 8 - DAN. Ukrainian forces have violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic twice over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.
“At 10:50 on Monday, Ukrainian servicemen were conducting engineer works in the Shumy settlement area outside Gorlovka,” the report said. “At 17:00, Ukrainian army engineers carried out two explosions in the Vodyanoye village area in southern Donbass.”
Ukrainian troops did not open fire at the DPR in the designated period. There have been no ceasefire violations on the frontline for the second day running, the JCCC said.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights. Ukraine regularly violates accords.*jk
