Donetsk, Jan 9 - DAN. Kiev forces shelled Leninskoye village of Novoazovskiy district in the south of DPR the previous evening, using mortars, a defense source told DAN.
"At around 9 p.m. the Ukrainian side opened 82mm mortar fire on Leninskoye village, firing over 20 rounds," the interlocutor said.
Mayorsk checkpoint and Donetsk airport territory were also targeted.
There were no reports on casualties or destructions.
A ceasefire was agreed by the Contact Group at its meeting on December 21st, in effect from midnight December 24th Kiev time – 1 a.m. December 24th DPR time, but shelling by Ukrainian forces continues.*ot
