Kiev forces shell western Donetsk with mortars - JCCC

Donetsk, Mar 7 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled the Staromikhailovka township in western Donetsk this evening, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

"At 5.30 p.m. the Ukrainian armed forces opened fire on the Staromikhailovka township. Four mortar rounds of 120mm caliber were fired," he said.

The JCCC said grenade launchers were also used.

A cargo vehicle came under Ukrainian fire earlier today as it was delivering materials to the Donbass water treatment plant. No casualties were reported.*ot
