Kiev forces shell western Donetsk with 50 rounds in ten minutes, use mortars - JCCC

Donetsk, May 12 - DAN. Ukrainian army units fired mortars at the Staromikhailovka settlement in western Donetsk on Tuesday, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

“Ukrainian armed formations shelled Staromikhailovka in western Donetsk at 16:00,” the report said. “Seven 82mm mortar rounds and 30 BMP-1 and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle cannon rounds were fired.”

Ten minutes before the strike, at 15:50, Ukrainian servicemen fired ten BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle cannon rounds at Staromikhailovka, the JCCC said.

Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times over the past 24 hours firing some 60 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
