Ukrainian forces have fired two-plus tons of rounds at the DPR territory over the past week, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“From March 19 to March 21, the Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire 21 times, firing the total of 370 rounds, or 2.06 tons, or 41 boxes,” he said.
Kiev forces fired 113 mortar rounds of 82mm and 120mm caliber. Tank guns were also used.
The Contact Group has brokered an “absolute ceasefire” in Donbass in effect from midnight March 5. The DPR said it is fully committed to the agreement and ready to silence guns. Periods of absolute ceasefire have been recorded, though Ukraine regularly violates the ceasefire. *ot
