Donetsk, Apr 26 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled DPR south with grenade launchers on Monday, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
The shelling incidents were reported at 11.30 a.m. and 12.45 p.m. The fire targeted Ukrainskoye and Leninskoye from the direction of Pavlopol and Vodyanoye. The total of 29 rounds were fired.
All the attempts to reinstall the ceasefire through the coordination mechanism failed as Ukrainian ignored the requests.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
