Donetsk, Oct 15 – DAN. Kiev forces shell DPR more than 600 times over 24 hours, said DPR operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"The situation in DPR has deteriorated, Kiev forces violated ceasefire 608 times over 24 hours, using heavy artillery and mortars 452 times," he said.
According to the Command, three militiamen were killed and three more wounded by Ukrainian fire. Six houses across the Republic sustained damage.
Ukrainian forces targeted Yasinovataya and Spartak village in the proximity, Gorlovka and Zaitsevo and Ozeryanovka villages, Dokuchaevsk and Novolaspa and Belaya Kamenka south of Dokuchayevsk, Petrovsky district, Aleksandrovka and Trudovskiye villages west of Donetsk, Sakhanka village in DPR south.
Earlier a defence source told DAN that during the previous evening and overnight Kiev forces fired over 200 artillery and mortar rounds at DPR territory along the line of contact.
