Donetsk, May 13 – DAN. The Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 15 times in the past 24 hours, firing almost 50 rounds, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
"Over the past 24 hours the enemy violated the ceasefire 15 times firing 47 shells,” Yakubov said.
Spartak, Vasilyevka, Mineralnoye, Krutaya Balka, Zaitsevo, Golmovskiy, Shakhta Gagarina, Petrovskoye, Dokuchayevsk, Novolaspa, Sakhanka were targeted with mortars, anti-tank missiles, IFVs, APCs, grenade launchers and small arms.
The rounds under 12.7 mm caliber are excluded from daily reports.
In the previous reporting period, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire nine times, firing 18 rounds. Today's 47 rounds fired make a 2.7-times increase in intensity of fire.
A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day. At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk. *ot
